Sigma Male. Sigma males spend more time living in an internal life battle than that of its opposite, the alpha male who lives a life of external battles. We are aware of two main male personality types.
A sigma male is best defined as the outsider who does not play the social game but manages to win it anyhow. He is a confident, independent, and charismatic man who plays by his own rules. A sigma male is a man who lives outside the hierarchy. They are neither content to be subordinate nor do they strive to be dominant—they reject the hierarchy altogether and live life on their own terms.
